# Choicegenics vs Special Needs AI

The clearest difference is rating: Choicegenics at 4.6 against Special Needs AI's 3.7. Choicegenics also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.2). Special Needs AI's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Special Needs AI sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $99.99 per year. Choicegenics asks for nothing beyond the download.

Choicegenics holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Choicegenics's written reviews are positive against 100% of Special Needs AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Choicegenics ships an update every 2 months, Special Needs AI weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
