# Planet Formula vs MindShot

The clearest difference is update cadence: MindShot at every 2 days against Planet Formula's every 2 months. Planet Formula's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Planet Formula sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and MindShot sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Planet Formula ships an update every 2 months, MindShot every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
