# Paradox vs LA BT Setup

The clearest difference is rating: Paradox at 1.8 against LA BT Setup's 1.0. Paradox also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). LA BT Setup's advantage is review sentiment (20% vs 8%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Paradox holds the better App Store score, 1.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Paradox has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 8% of Paradox's written reviews are positive against 20% of LA BT Setup's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Paradox ships an update fortnightly, LA BT Setup every 5 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
