# UltimatePointer vs Echo

The clearest difference is rating: Echo at 4.5 against UltimatePointer's 1.0. Echo also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 1). UltimatePointer's advantage is iOS requirement (14.2 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UltimatePointer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Echo sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Echo holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Echo has 3.6K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
