# Wodify vs SDG Athletics

Wodify and SDG Athletics both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of SDG Athletics's written reviews are positive against 46% of Wodify's. Wodify's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (17K vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Wodify against 5.0 for SDG Athletics. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wodify has 17K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 46% of Wodify's written reviews are positive against 100% of SDG Athletics's.

Wodify ships an update every 5 weeks, SDG Athletics every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
