# Fountain Stream vs STICK

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: STICK at none against Fountain Stream's 4. STICK also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 11 days). Fountain Stream's advantage is ratings volume (25 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fountain Stream sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. STICK asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Fountain Stream against 5.0 for STICK. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fountain Stream has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Fountain Stream ships an update every 11 days, STICK every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
