# Firehouse Cookie Co vs Andar

The clearest difference is monetization model: Firehouse Cookie Co at free against Andar's free with in-app purchases. Firehouse Cookie Co also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 5 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). Andar's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Firehouse Cookie Co against 4.9 for Andar. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Andar has 1.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
