# RecipeChef vs Tablée

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tablée at every 6 days against RecipeChef's fortnightly. RecipeChef's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RecipeChef sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Tablée sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RecipeChef ships an update fortnightly, Tablée every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
