# Wayfinder vs Otok

The clearest difference is price: Wayfinder at Free against Otok's $0.99. Wayfinder also leads on rating (4.4 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (46 vs 3). Otok's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 79%). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Wayfinder is free to download; Otok costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wayfinder holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wayfinder has 46 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Wayfinder's written reviews are positive against 100% of Otok's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wayfinder ships an update every 8 days, Otok every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
