# Wingman vs XC Fly

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Wingman at 116 against XC Fly's 1. Wingman also leads on review sentiment (96% vs 83%). XC Fly's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Wingman sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and XC Fly sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

XC Fly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Wingman has 116 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 96% of Wingman's written reviews are positive against 83% of XC Fly's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Wingman ships an update weekly, XC Fly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
