# Taboo vs eHeads

The clearest difference is price: eHeads at Free against Taboo's $1.99. eHeads also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Taboo's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

eHeads is free to download; Taboo costs $1.99 up front. Taboo sells 26 one-off in-app purchases and eHeads sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Taboo ships an update monthly, eHeads every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
