# PAK IDENTITY vs OctaveHI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OctaveHI at 75% against PAK IDENTITY's 27%. PAK IDENTITY's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (13K vs 10). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PAK IDENTITY holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PAK IDENTITY has 13K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of PAK IDENTITY's written reviews are positive against 75% of OctaveHI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PAK IDENTITY ships an update weekly, OctaveHI every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
