# PAK IDENTITY vs Halal Connect

PAK IDENTITY and Halal Connect both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 80% of Halal Connect's written reviews are positive against 27% of PAK IDENTITY's. Halal Connect also leads on iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16). PAK IDENTITY's advantage is ratings volume (13K vs 5) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for PAK IDENTITY against 4.4 for Halal Connect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PAK IDENTITY has 13K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 27% of PAK IDENTITY's written reviews are positive against 80% of Halal Connect's.

PAK IDENTITY ships an update weekly, Halal Connect every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
