# Privus vs Accelerometer ∞

The clearest difference is rating: Accelerometer ∞ at 4.3 against Privus's 3.3. Accelerometer ∞ also leads on ratings volume (65 vs 3). Privus's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Accelerometer ∞ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Privus asks for nothing beyond the download.

Accelerometer ∞ holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Accelerometer ∞ has 65 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Privus's written reviews are positive against 50% of Accelerometer ∞'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
