# LeReader vs Literie

LeReader and Literie both sit at 4.1 stars, but that hides the real split: 62% of LeReader's written reviews are positive against 22% of Literie's. Literie's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 558). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LeReader sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Literie sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for LeReader against 4.1 for Literie. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Literie has 3.1K ratings behind it against 558, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of LeReader's written reviews are positive against 22% of Literie's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
