# Augment vs Nexter

The clearest difference is rating: Nexter at 5.0 against Augment's 4.5. Augment's advantage is ratings volume (34 vs 2) and update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Augment sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Nexter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Nexter holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Augment has 34 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 86% of Augment's written reviews are positive against 91% of Nexter's.

Augment ships an update every 3 days, Nexter weekly. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
