# Iron Prototype vs Hunk Hero

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Hunk Hero at 1.6K against Iron Prototype's 10. Hunk Hero also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iron Prototype sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hunk Hero sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hunk Hero holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hunk Hero has 1.6K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Iron Prototype's written reviews are positive against 73% of Hunk Hero's.

Iron Prototype ships an update monthly, Hunk Hero fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
