# Iron Prototype vs Glide Master

The clearest difference is rating: Glide Master at 4.3 against Iron Prototype's 3.9. Iron Prototype's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 19 months) and ratings volume (21 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Iron Prototype sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Glide Master sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Glide Master holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Iron Prototype has 21 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Iron Prototype's written reviews are positive against 67% of Glide Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Iron Prototype ships an update monthly, Glide Master every 19 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
