# CDL Prep vs CDL Prep

CDL Prep and CDL Prep both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of CDL Prep's written reviews are positive against 25% of CDL Prep's. CDL Prep's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CDL Prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and CDL Prep sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CDL Prep holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 329 and 360 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of CDL Prep's written reviews are positive against 25% of CDL Prep's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

CDL Prep ships an update every 6 months, CDL Prep every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
