# Momentum vs Readwise Reader

The clearest difference is rating: Readwise Reader at 4.6 against Momentum's 3.8. Readwise Reader also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (72% vs 62%). Momentum's advantage is device support (4 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Momentum sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and Readwise Reader sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Readwise Reader holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8.
