# iZoomViewer vs OpenPhotos

The clearest difference is update cadence: OpenPhotos at every 2 weeks against iZoomViewer's monthly. iZoomViewer's advantage is device support (5 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.5). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iZoomViewer ships an update monthly, OpenPhotos every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
