# موڤ vs almentor

The clearest difference is ratings volume: almentor at 106 against موڤ's 21. almentor also leads on iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. موڤ sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and almentor sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $21.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for موڤ against 4.7 for almentor. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: almentor has 106 ratings behind it against 21, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 78% of موڤ's written reviews are positive against 71% of almentor's.

موڤ ships an update every 3 weeks, almentor fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
