# PDF Scanner vs SendHype

PDF Scanner and SendHype both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 59% of SendHype's written reviews are positive against 25% of PDF Scanner's. SendHype also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 13). PDF Scanner's advantage is iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Scanner sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and SendHype sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for PDF Scanner against 4.6 for SendHype. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SendHype has 1.6K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two.
