# Star Point Explorer vs Velocity Runner

The clearest difference is update cadence: Star Point Explorer at every 10 days against Velocity Runner's monthly. Star Point Explorer also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Star Point Explorer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Velocity Runner sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Star Point Explorer ships an update every 10 days, Velocity Runner monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
