# Myth Matrix vs Card Hero

The clearest difference is rating: Myth Matrix at 5.0 against Card Hero's 4.3. Myth Matrix also leads on ads (none vs shown). Card Hero's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Myth Matrix sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Card Hero sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Myth Matrix holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Myth Matrix's written reviews are positive against 86% of Card Hero's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Myth Matrix ships an update every 3 weeks, Card Hero weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
