# Pikka vs Baopals

The clearest difference is rating: Baopals at 4.8 against Pikka's 4.0. Baopals also leads on ratings volume (125 vs 1) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Pikka's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 79%) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Baopals holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Baopals has 125 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Pikka's written reviews are positive against 79% of Baopals's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pikka ships an update every 6 days, Baopals every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
