# NextWord Browser vs Kiwi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NextWord Browser at 100% against Kiwi's 52%. NextWord Browser also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). Kiwi's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (326 vs 3). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kiwi sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. NextWord Browser asks for nothing beyond the download.

Kiwi holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kiwi has 326 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of NextWord Browser's written reviews are positive against 52% of Kiwi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NextWord Browser ships an update weekly, Kiwi every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
