# Clockout vs Nova Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Clockout at 4.7 against Nova Connect's 3.0. Clockout also leads on ratings volume (8K vs 2) and update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). Nova Connect's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 18) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clockout sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Nova Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clockout holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clockout has 8K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Clockout's written reviews are positive against 71% of Nova Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clockout ships an update weekly, Nova Connect every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
