# Clockout vs Sandlines

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sandlines at 100% against Clockout's 63%. Sandlines also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 18) and ads (none vs shown). Clockout's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 7) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clockout sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Sandlines asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clockout holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clockout has 8K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Clockout's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sandlines's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clockout ships an update weekly, Sandlines every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
