# Clockout vs BarkShare

The clearest difference is review sentiment: BarkShare at 100% against Clockout's 62%. BarkShare also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). Clockout's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clockout sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. BarkShare asks for nothing beyond the download.

BarkShare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clockout has 8K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 62% of Clockout's written reviews are positive against 100% of BarkShare's.

Clockout ships an update weekly, BarkShare every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
