# Clockout vs Vida Connect

Clockout and Vida Connect both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Vida Connect's written reviews are positive against 63% of Clockout's. Vida Connect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 18) and ads (none vs shown). Clockout's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 14) and chart position (#168 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clockout sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Vida Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

Clockout holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clockout has 8K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Clockout's written reviews are positive against 100% of Vida Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
