# Clockout vs Catch Connect

The clearest difference is rating: Clockout at 4.7 against Catch Connect's 4.2. Clockout also leads on ratings volume (8K vs 5) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Catch Connect's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clockout sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Catch Connect sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clockout holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clockout has 8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Clockout's written reviews are positive against 67% of Catch Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Clockout ships an update weekly, Catch Connect monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
