# Clockout vs ChessDate

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ChessDate at none against Clockout's 18. ChessDate also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (80% vs 63%). Clockout's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 13) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Clockout sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. ChessDate asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Clockout against 4.7 for ChessDate.
