# Happy vs Noteit

The clearest difference is rating: Noteit at 4.7 against Happy's 3.7. Noteit also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Happy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Noteit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Noteit holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 36 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Happy's written reviews are positive against 70% of Noteit's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Happy ships an update every 3 weeks, Noteit every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
