# YouID vs ResConnect

The clearest difference is update cadence: ResConnect at every 4 days against YouID's every 10 days. YouID's advantage is iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

YouID ships an update every 10 days, ResConnect every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
