# CHSPE vs Formulae Pro

The clearest difference is price: CHSPE at Free against Formulae Pro's $1.99. Formulae Pro's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 10 months). On ads, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

CHSPE is free to download; Formulae Pro costs $1.99 up front. CHSPE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Formulae Pro sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CHSPE ships an update every 10 months, Formulae Pro every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
