# Wingstracker vs VetRec

The clearest difference is rating: Wingstracker at 5.0 against VetRec's 4.8. Wingstracker also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). VetRec's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wingstracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VetRec has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 2, 2026.
