# Octopus vs Earnote

The clearest difference is ads: Earnote at none against Octopus's shown. Octopus's advantage is iOS requirement (13.6 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Octopus sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Earnote sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
