# Drop Number vs Match Master

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Drop Number at 12 against Match Master's 2. Drop Number also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drop Number sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Match Master sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drop Number holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drop Number has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Drop Number ships an update every 5 weeks, Match Master every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
