# Reminder Notifications vs Reminders & task management

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Reminders & task management at 100% against Reminder Notifications's 61%. Reminders & task management also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 6 weeks). Reminder Notifications's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 3). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Reminder Notifications sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Reminders & task management sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reminder Notifications holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reminder Notifications has 1.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Reminder Notifications's written reviews are positive against 100% of Reminders & task management's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Reminder Notifications ships an update every 6 weeks, Reminders & task management every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
