# Funride vs Epic Games

The clearest difference is monetization model: Funride at free against Epic Games's free with in-app purchases. Funride also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). Epic Games's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and chart position (#45 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Funride ships an update every 3 months, Epic Games every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
