# YEAH BUDDY APP vs Trena

The clearest difference is rating: Trena at 4.9 against YEAH BUDDY APP's 4.5. YEAH BUDDY APP's advantage is ratings volume (124 vs 24) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 16.4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. YEAH BUDDY APP sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Trena sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Trena holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: YEAH BUDDY APP has 124 ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 65% of YEAH BUDDY APP's written reviews are positive against 61% of Trena's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

YEAH BUDDY APP ships an update every 6 days, Trena weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
