# Special Bridge vs Dateability

The clearest difference is rating: Dateability at 3.9 against Special Bridge's 2.7. Dateability also leads on ratings volume (113 vs 10). Special Bridge's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Special Bridge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month and Dateability sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dateability holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dateability has 113 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 33% and 34% positive.

Special Bridge ships an update every 2 months, Dateability every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
