# Special Bridge vs Grounded Singles

The clearest difference is monetization model: Special Bridge at free against Grounded Singles's free with in-app purchases. Special Bridge also leads on ratings volume (10 vs 2). Grounded Singles's advantage is rating (3.0 vs 2.7) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Special Bridge sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month and Grounded Singles sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Grounded Singles holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Special Bridge has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Special Bridge ships an update every 2 months, Grounded Singles every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
