# Cuddeback vs Black Gate Mobile

Cuddeback and Black Gate Mobile both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 86% of Black Gate Mobile's written reviews are positive against 32% of Cuddeback's. Cuddeback's advantage is ratings volume (3.4K vs 15) and update cadence (every 8 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Cuddeback against 4.5 for Black Gate Mobile. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cuddeback has 3.4K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two.
