# Cuddeback vs Wave VMS

The clearest difference is rating: Wave VMS at 5.0 against Cuddeback's 4.5. Cuddeback's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3.6K vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Wave VMS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cuddeback has 3.6K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
