# Alpena Auto vs Tex Tool Tracker

The clearest difference is rating: Tex Tool Tracker at 5.0 against Alpena Auto's 1.7. Tex Tool Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 months). Alpena Auto's advantage is ratings volume (125 vs 3) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
