# Exempt vs Amigos

The clearest difference is rating: Amigos at 5.0 against Exempt's 2.1. Amigos also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Exempt's advantage is ratings volume (103 vs 1). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amigos holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exempt has 103 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Exempt ships an update fortnightly, Amigos every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
