# NotesNChat vs Cleanout

The clearest difference is rating: NotesNChat at 5.0 against Cleanout's 4.5. Cleanout's advantage is ratings volume (209 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NotesNChat sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Cleanout sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NotesNChat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cleanout has 209 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

NotesNChat ships an update every 8 days, Cleanout every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
