# Platform8 vs Ratri

The clearest difference is rating: Platform8 at 2.3 against Ratri's 1.0. Platform8 also leads on ratings volume (3 vs 1). Ratri's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (60% vs 33%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Platform8 sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Ratri sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Platform8 holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Platform8's written reviews are positive against 60% of Ratri's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
